Below are answers to the most common questions asked about applying to a Health Sciences program.
A. There are several ways to obtain an application packet.

A. After you have applied for General Admission to Gulf Coast State College, and are accepted. From that point, we would love to receive your program application and meet with you personally to help develop a plan for taking classes to prepare you for the program you are interested in.
A. An "official transcript" is a document sent from one institution to another. Hand-delivered transcripts or student-mailed transcripts are not considered official transcripts.
A. Applications will continuously be accepted; however, there may not be spaces available for every students who applies. Those who have prepared for the program by taking required college courses will have the best chance of being selected for program participation.
A. All of our programs use a competitive admissions process rather than a waiting list. Each selection cycle, all students applying for that particular program compete for the available seats. The top students from that group of applicants are selected to fill the class. Those students not selected should fill out a new program application to be considered for the next cycle where they will compete with any other new applicants to the program. (All programs have slightly different selection criteria, so the program application packet should be consulted for the exact criteria used for selection.)
A. No. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure their application folder is complete and up-to-date with the current program requirements by the program deadline date.
