Multimedia Video  Production, Certificate

This certificate option emphasizes the design, production, and broadcast of digital video. We have the latest High-Definition Cameras and a one of-a-kind video production studio. You will learn the basics of digital video production techniques, desktop video editing and how to work with virtual 3D studio sets using the latest vector-based technologies. The goal of this program is to prepare students for initial employment or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in the field of video production.

Your creations will be broadcast on our television studio and uploaded to YouTube for online distribution as you build a portfolio of personal and team projects designed to gain you employment in area businesses using digital video. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth between 2014 and 2024 for media and communication occupations will increase by 4%. Demand for media and communication occupations should stem from the need to create, edit, translate, and disseminate information through a variety of different platforms.  Apply now to get started.
