Take the Next Step Toward Management in Health Services

Now that you have been working for a while in health services it is time to take the step toward becoming an effective leader in your field. Also, even if you have limited experience leadership skills are one of the most valuable skills employers and new businesses need.  The rapidly changing healthcare system needs workers who are technically skilled, people-oriented and capable of handling leadership positions as a member of a team.  The BAS Organizational Management-Health Services Administration option is open to anyone with a general AA or any transfer track AA and also to anyone with an AS degree in a health-related field.

The BAS in Organizational Management with the Health Services option is one of four bachelor degree programs offered at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida, and prepares students to become effective leaders in organizations and society.

Getting your bachelor’s degree in organizational management is an important way to fast-track your career. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job growth between 2014 and 2024 for management occupations will increase by 6% and which was the highest wage of all the major occupational groups.
